This is a good one to play together, help each other through the tricky parts, teach problem solving. Super Mario 3D World might be the best child-friendly game ever made. It’s perfect if you want to give your kids something a little more obviously "kiddy" without sacrificing them at the altar of the almighty Fortnite. Playing online is also relatively safe compared to most shooters. For the most part you’ll want to steer your children away from online shooters, but Splatoon 2is the exception.

It’s a decent price and will be one your kids keep coming back to. It’s nice that it encourages children to team up, rather than compete against each other, and we like the element of skill and strategy.

That means there is no real goal, other than to see how many crazy reactions you can find by tapping and swiping on the 21 available animals drawn in this app. I would imagine any child should find these differing reactions humorous and amusing, which to me says thatPetting Zoo is a great choice for your kid’s entertainment.

It’s not quite as thrilling or exciting as some of the other offerings such as Orangutwang or Cheeky Monkeys, but it’s a good way to here get the family together. It’s not educational in the same way that Make n Break is, or skill-based like Operation Escape Room but there’s endless fun to be had – and sometimes you just need to wear some silly glasses and have a giggle.
